Indian ink on school books_22/17cm

Series of school notebooks entirely crossed out in Indian ink, presented under glass. Inspired by John Baldessari's performance "I will not make anymore boring art," this work explores a compulsive and silent gesture. Each page conceals writing that never existed, a mentally constructed narrative never set down. The title plays on polysemy: scratch, savage writing, signature as mark. The suffix ".txt" evokes the digital file made illegible, encrypted, become interior. Between archive, intimate journal, and palimpsest, this series makes the gesture of erasing a creative act in itself. The visible becomes memory of secret thoughts kept out of reach.
